The busiest month...EVER!!

  Seriously, Folks, I have no time/no days off in the entire month of July...I can not even blog to you ALL I have to do and everything coming up at once in my life and work.  Usually, I would give you the break down of my weekly schedule and you would see how much I need to do to keep on top of things.  This month, however, I am racing just to get it  all done.  There are many blessings in my life and I appreciate each one.  I am getting good solid bookings for my shows at new places and even some places I always wanted to do a show at.  On the other hand, I am still waiting for some of my regular venues to give me their 2010 show dates.  At this point, I have to wait until September to contact them.  This is when most people and places go into "summer-vacation mode".  Especially since we had a grey, rainy spring.  It just rained and rained.  I do hope THAT is over with now! 

I am getting the "Food Network" stuff together.  I have one "Lucy" tour this month which is out of town. I have some Psychic Readings, I have more of those in August, though.  I'll tell you what, I would love to just do Tarot Readings for the entire month of August and that's it.  Maybe next year I can do that.  We will see. 

Anyway, I have "Food Network" rehearsals starting this month.  My big company picnic.  My getaway with my husband and trying very hard to learn my Paula lines.   One good thing is I do NOT have to start writing my next script!  I am going to be reusing my "Hillbillies From Hell" script for my Summer 2010 tour so I can actually start writing my "AllIn The Family" script AFTER the Holidays...Yeah!

The rest of this year is actually very busy for me now that I look at it...

Wow, what a time...

Hi all!  No, I have not stopped writing on my Xanga...I just am crunched for time to do it!  I'll  keep youse guys informed on whats what...Just not everyday.

Well, it was a bit rough but I got my "Food Network" Cast.  I was very surprised that  more people did not show up since I bombarded my local Craigslist with Ads for the auditions plus it was in my Sunday Call Board Section.  I posted on my monthly newsletter & my facebook that I needed actors.  To be blunt, I did not hinder myself at all in the ads.  I did not ask for an age range or specific experience.  I did not get the turn out that I wanted and needed.  I am now thinking that people can not find the place I hold my auditions.  So, I think next time I hold auditions, I will use my house.  It is on a very common road and most people can find it (mapquest it) easily. 

The Universe did provide me with some really terrific young actors and I look forward to working with them.  I did already have one part pre-cast.  I did not find a Stage Manager or a Gordon Ramsey at auditions, so I had to call in some favors to some friends.  Thankfully, one of my actors will play Gordon Ramsey and I do have at least one Stage Manager (I'm waiting on my second one to confirm).

Anyway, onward.  SOOO MUCH TO DO.  Too much.  My schedule for July is unbelievable.  I am way behind in my producer responsibilities, too.  I have to get the costumes, wigs, food props, reg. props for this show pronto!  Also in July is my big Fiesta Company Picnic and My mini vacation with my husband...Plus a "Lucy" tour, too.  This script took alot longer to write and put together then I had planned and I needed the extra time to do that which took away my learning my lines time. 

AHHH!! 

I will plug away the best I can.  I have to learn my Paula Deen lines pronto. It's just I have so many things swimming in my head right now...

I have been getting bookings for "Lucy" and "Food Network"...It is the time of year, I must start calling my steady venues to remind them to give me their dates for 2010.

Somehow, I am going to find the time to enjoy my summer, family, and garden.

To change the subject,

I was very sorry to hear Farrah Fawcett died.  I watched that wonderful "Farrah's Story" and the main thing was she did not want to die like this.  She was not afraid to die, she just did not want this cancer to beat her.   It's sad.  She fought very hard.  She means so much to women like myself, young girls of the 1970's.  She was our beauty icon, the one we wanted to look like.  We all wanted to be Farrah.

For Michael Jackson, this was not a shock to me he died.  I kinda "knew" this was coming.  The positive thing I will say about him is that he was a mega talent.  You can't take that away from him.  He was a sick man, though.  Mentally sick and physically sick.   That clouded over his talent.  The "feeling" (psychic) I got around him was past sexual abuse.  Sexual abuse that happened sometime before puberty.  The guilt from the sexual abuse plus the nutty religious upbringing from the mother contributed to Michael's actions later on in adult life.  Again, this is my very strong psychic "feeling" on him.  My opinion, what I am "getting".   Another psychic feeling I got on him was he was a very good father to those children.  He was protective of them.  My "psychic gut" is telling me, he just gave up.  He did not want to perform anymore.  He did not want to deal with the lawsuits anymore.  He wanted to be Peter Pan.  Just live in his Peter Pan world and raise his children.  Real Life just kept getting the way.  Like I said, these are my "Psychic Impressions" I got on him.  More "Impressions" on him...He crossed right away to the Other Side but he is tired and he is being "protected" right now over there.  His main concern was his children, leaving his children.  If he did not have his children, he would have left (died) sooner.  Michael will get counseling over there and he will be whole. 

I know, you people think I am nuts.  Oh well, such is the life of a Psychic. 

Getting ready for a very busy week...

Well, I finished, typed, formatted, printed out, copied, and sent my new "RACHAEL RAY'S FOOD NETWORK NIGHTMARE"  script....It literally took all of last week to get done.  Auditions for it are next week (Tuesday & Wednesday/June 23rd & 24th)...So, I am preparing for that. I have been posting on my local Craigslist for actors and I got responses from that.  I need a Stage Manager, Racheal Ray, Bobby Flay, and Gordon Ramsey.  I lifted my over 18 restrictions, too.  I am allowing The Universe to work and send unto me the right people for the parts.  If you or someone you know would like to audition for my show, here is the info! White Rose Productions will be holding auditions for it's Fall/Winter 2009 Murder Mystery Dinner Theater Show "RACHEAL RAY'S FOOD NETWORK NIGHTMARE" at Colonial House Restaurant & Bar, 131 Howertown Rd. Catasauqua, Pa. 18032 @ 7:00PM. Needed are men and women to portray the roles of Rachael Ray, Bobby Flay, and Gordon Ramsay. A Stage Manager is also needed. No experience necessary. All roles are paid. Audition dates are TUESDAY, JUNE 23rd 2009 & WEDNESDAY JUNE 24th 2009. This show will be available for tours from October, 2009 through April, 2010. Great characters! I do pay my actors.  I am one of the very few in my area that does this.  Quite frankly, I am surprised that I am not swarmed at auditions with people.  They do not need experience.  I prefer this by the way.  Seriously, this trained actor stuff gets in the way.  I break the rules, folks!!  I am a firm believer you either got it or you don't.  No amount of teaching or classes can give you "it"...I have turned down some offers in the past to teach acting.  Goes against what I believe.   This is also a fantastic opportunity to new actors to "get their feet" wet and this experience does not hurt to be put on a resume, either.

On the downside and the reason I do pay my actors is it is a committment of time on their part.  They must be available for rehearsals and tours.   I have no understudies.  If an actor gives me a conflict date BEFORE I schedule a show, I will accomodate him.  However, this is my livlihood and I must book as many shows as I can within the tour time.   It's the business part of show business.

Anyway, I have auditions coming up next week.  Plus, Monday-Food Shopping..Tuesday& Wednesday-Auditions, Thursday-Carnival...Friday-"Lucy" Show...Saturday-Psychic Salon

No days off...

Oh well, what else is new, huh?

Won $12...I should be typing

Hi all...I have not forgotten my Xanga Journal.  Mega, Mega, Mega busy with ALOT to do and many things that are on deadline. 

However...I did manage to find the time yesterday (Monday) to go over to the new Sands Casino in my area with my husband Chris.  I thought it was really nice and they had some great machines.  It is all brand new.  I ended up winning $12.  My husband won like $80.  He has a knack for picking out the "right" Slot Machine.  I do not have that knack, unfortunately .  I like Video Poker, Jacks Or Better.  However, I was losing on Video Poker.  So, I switched to the quarter slots and made the money back plus $12.  Chris and I ate over at Nathan's in the Food Court thingy they have there.  It was good.  Chris and I have decided to go to the fancy Emeril's Chop House for our 25th Wedding Anniversary on November 3. 

I know I will go back to the Sands at least one more time this year.  It's kind of weird but I will be going to Mount Airy Casino in July AND Atlantic City Casino (Showboat) in August...That's ALOT of Casinos, folks.  I like Casinos but I'm not nuts about them or anything like that.

My "Food Network" script is *almost* finished.  My deadline is this Saturday.  So, that's what I will be doing the rest of this week.  My son only has time on Sunday to format it for me.  My auditions for it are in two weeks.  I have one actor who has been very patiently waiting for his script as I try to get it and everything else in my life done.

I had to change my show line up for 2010.  I NEVER do that.  Once I establish my tour shows, I stick with it.  Unless, the Universe chimes in and works through many others to let me know to change things.  Very long story short, My original Summer 2010 Tour Show "SCARFACE'S MACHINE GUN WEDDING" has been changed to "THE HILLBILLIES FROM HELL". 

I am like everybody else at this point...Just waiting for the economy to improve.  Despite it all, my shows are selling out and my business has increased. 

June is my month for "Food Network" ...

 Hi Folks!  Sorry I do not write consistantly on this anymore.  I am extremely busy as of now.  I am trying my best to finish up all my "major" work and clear my desk (for the most part) before Summer truly hits.  I want to be able to enjoy the activities I have planned without all kinds of "stuff" pulling me away from it. 

June is definately my month to get my "Rachel Ray's Food Network Nightmare" show going.  The script is written and I am typing it out as of now.  I figure one more week and it will be totally finished.  It has to be because I have auditions for it at the end of the month.  I need a Stage Manager, Rachel Ray, Gordon Ramsey, & Bobby Flay.  I already started posting the audition info on my local Craigslist.  I will also put a notice in the Sunday Call Board Section very soon. 

I am getting some feedback from people already who are interested in the show. 

The show itself is EXTREMELY funny.  Really a whoot.  I know the audiences are going to have a good time with it.  My "LUCY" show is going very well.  Everybody STILL loves Lucy.  Unfortunately, this will be the last "Lucy" based show I do.  On to other things, other characters.  It's like the same thing I had with my "Judge Judy" Shows.  I wrote and appeared in three of them.  The audiences really liked them.  I could have written one more, done one more.  But, it was time to move on to other things.
